Odi Lahav

Chief Operating Officer

Odi Lahav is the COO of bfinance. He is responsible for overseeing Investments, Digital Solutions and our corporate functions. Odi has extensive experience across asset management and has worked with institutional investors for over 25 years, advising on investment strategy and implementation.

Olivier Cassin

Managing Director, Head of Investment Solutions

Oliver Cassin is Head of Investment Solutions. He rejoined bfinance in 2023, having previously worked at the firm from 2000 to 2014. Before coming back to the firm he held senior roles at BNY Mellon, where he managed the UK and European Institutional Sales team and more recently Client Solutions, and at Lyxor Asset Management as Head of UK Institutional Sales.

Dr Peter Hobbs

Managing Director, Private Markets Advisory

Peter Hobbs is a Managing Director and a member of the Senior Management Team. His division covers a range of services including portfolio design, manager selection and due diligence.

Mathias Neidert, CFA

Managing Director, Head of Fixed Income

Mathias is Head of Fixed Income and a member of the firm's Senior Management Team. He joined bfinance as a Senior Associate in March 2008 focusing on manager research and selection in fixed income. He was named Head of Public Markets in 2014, managing a team of asset class specialists in charge of investment advisory within listed equity and fixed income.

Toby Goodworth

Managing Director, Head of Liquid Markets

Toby Goodworth is Head of Liquid Markets at bfinance and a member of the firm's Senior Management Team. Previously, he was Head of Risk Management and a member of the Investment Committee at Key Asset Management, one of Europe's oldest fund of hedge funds.

Anna Morrison

Managing Director, Head of Private Equity

Anna has joined the Private Markets team at bfinance as a Managing Director to focus on the private equity asset class. She has 20 years’ experience in investing and managing global private equity programs for institutional investors, working both in Australia and then in the United Kingdom for the last 10 years.

Anish Butani

Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure

Anish Butani is a Managing Director in the Private Markets team at bfinance and leads the firm’s coverage of the infrastructure asset class. Since joining bfinance in 2017, Anish has advised a broad range of clients globally in allocating over $10bn to the infrastructure asset class.

Robert Doyle

Managing Director, Head of Equities

Robert is a Managing Director within the Public Markets team, specialising in equity manager research. Robert joined bfinance as an Associate in 2015, having spent five years as a manager research analyst at a UK-based private wealth management firm. Robert holds an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School, graduating with distinction, and a first class honours degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Warwick.

Thibault Sandret

Senior Director, Head of Private Debt

Thibault leads Private Debt Research at bfinance, bringing more than fifteen years of credit-oriented experience. Before joining the firm in early 2019, Thibault spent over a decade in banking across various corporate debt structuring, origination and advisory roles.

Ishan Issadeen

Senior Director, Head of Real Estate

Ishan Issadeen is a Senior Director in the Private Markets team at bfinance with a focus on Real Estate, holding over 15 years of manager selection experience across a range of private markets and hedge fund strategies. Prior to joining bfinance in 2022, Ishan worked within the private banking division of Deutsche Bank where he focused on real estate and infrastructure fund research.

Fixed income strategy specialists provide thorough coverage across all sectors of the market: global and regional, single-sector and multi-sector (absolute return, multi-asset credit), emerging markets and developed markets, leveraged loans, green bonds, securitised credit, convertibles, CAT bonds and more.

Equity team

Our experienced equity manager research team provides deep expertise across the full spectrum of listed public equity strategies. Coverage includes: global, regional and country-specific strategies; active and passive; style-agnostic and style-specific (such as growth, value); impact and carbon reduction; Shariah-compliant and more.

Diversifying strategies team

The bfinance Diversifying Strategies team provides wide-ranging expertise on a broad range of strategies within liquid markets that are intended to improve on traditional portfolio outcomes and manage risk. These include: hedge funds, multi asset, alternative risk premia and commodity strategies, as well as portfolio overlays that manage risk or currency exposures.

bfinance Operational Solutions services give our clients greater control, stronger governance and actionable information to support decision-making. Each service was initially developed for more customised information upon which to base key investment decisions and improve portfolio management.
