Frans Verhaar, CFA, CAIA, FRM, FDP

Frans is in 2007 begonnen bij het Londense kantoor van bfinance als onderdeel van het team voor manageronderzoek. Zijn rol omvatte het werken met institutionele beleggers wereldwijd, hen assisterend bij het zoeken en selecteren van managers. Tegen 2009 veranderde Frans van rol om zich te concentreren op klantenadvies binnen de Nederlandstalige institutionele beleggersmarkt, met als doel het versterken en uitbreiden van de voetafdruk van het bedrijf. Frans werkt nu actief samen met investeerders in Nederland, België, Denemarken en IJsland.
Frans's basis in de financiële sector werd gelegd bij ING in Den Haag, waar hij in 2001 startte. Gedurende zijn tijd daar was hij onderdeel van de afdeling Fixed Income en Corporate Treasury, waar hij verantwoordelijk was voor het beheer van liquiditeit, valuta en renterisico's voor ING Insurance Holding. Hij vervulde ook de rol van portefeuillemanager voor institutionele klanten bij ING Investment Management, waar hij diverse beleggingsportefeuilles beheerde voor pensioenfondsen.
Door de jaren heen heeft Frans meerdere titels behaald, waaronder CFA, CAIA, FRM, en FDP, wat zijn toewijding aan professionele ontwikkeling en affiniteit met financiele markten aantoont. Daarnaast heeft hij zijn tijd vrijgemaakt om als vrijwilliger bestuursfuncties te bekleden bij CFA Netherlands en CAIA Netherlands, bijdragend aan de financiële gemeenschap en ondersteuning van de ontwikkeling van industriestandaarden en praktijken.
