Umang è Direttore del team Mercati privati presso bfinance, con particolare attenzione al debito privato. Vanta oltre 11 anni di esperienza nella consulenza agli investitori istituzionali, con una specializzazione specifica nei mercati privati e negli investimenti alternativi.

Prima di entrare a far parte di bfinance, Umang ha ricoperto un ruolo dirigenziale presso Barnett Waddingham in qualità di consulente per gli investimenti e responsabile della ricerca alternativa, guidando le attività di ricerca e strategia nei mercati privati e supportando la gestione dei clienti. All’inizio della sua carriera ha lavorato presso Willis Towers Watson, fornendo supporto ai clienti istituzionali in materia di strategie di finanziamento e di investimento, dopo aver iniziato la sua carriera presso OCBC, dove ha contribuito alla supervisione normativa e al monitoraggio dei rischi.

Umang è membro dell'Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, detiene la qualifica di Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) e ha conseguito il Certificato CFA in Mercati Privati e Investimenti Alternativi.
