Umang ist Direktor im Private-Markets-Team bei bfinance mit Schwerpunkt auf Private Debt. Er verfügt über mehr als 11 Jahre Erfahrung in der Beratung institutioneller Anleger und ist insbesondere auf Private Markets und alternative Anlagen spezialisiert.

Vor seinem Eintritt bei bfinance hatte Umang eine leitende Position bei Barnett Waddingham als Anlageberater und Leiter des Bereichs Alternative Research inne, wo er die Forschung und Strategie im Bereich der privaten Märkte leitete und die Kundenbetreuung unterstützte. Zu Beginn seiner Karriere arbeitete er bei Willis Towers Watson, wo er institutionelle Kunden bei der Finanzierungs- und Anlagestrategie unterstützte, nachdem er seine Laufbahn bei OCBC begonnen hatte, wo er zur regulatorischen Aufsicht und zum Risikomanagement beitrug.

Umang ist Fellow des Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, verfügt über die Qualifikation als Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) und hat das CFA-Zertifikat für private Märkte und alternative Anlagen erworben.
